What is an intuitive/energy reading?

An intuitive reading taps into the wisdom that comes through your higher self and your spirit knowing, as well as your team of guides. We all have a team made up of spirit guides, angels, those who have crossed over, your own higher self and the Universe/Source/Spirit — however you imagine or connect with the idea of the Divine. I as the intuitive, channeler, reader, psychic, (whatever label you prefer) offer you the messages that are coming through in the way that you can best understand it; your guides are always going to know how you're going to hear something best.

The tarot and oracle cards I use are like cue cards for me throughout your reading. The guides will show me a card falling out, and that will be a cue card for the message for you. As I look at that card, I can see various ways that your guides are sending you messages that are very specific to your personal situation. So two people who receive the same card will have very different messages, because they each are living a unique expression of that energy.

An intuitive reading is also an energy reading. So not only are the messages coming through for you from your guides, but we are taking a close look at — a sort of X-ray of — what's happening in your personal energy. So it really matters what your mind is doing. If you put a lead apron over an area you were trying to X-ray, you wouldn't be able to get an image. It's the same with our ego minds; they can block our guidance and create blocks in our energy. That's why it's important when you have a reading that you come in with very open energy and open mind, because you're participating in that reading. Nothing is happening without your participation and your consent; you're actually directing it on a higher self level. When you come into a reading open minded, you can then see any energy blocks within that you might not have been consciously aware of, and your awareness can begin to move them out of the way.
